Givet en vägg, en dörr 

“VÄGGEN” Möregatan 6, Stockholm 2025

“Väggen” (eng, The Wall), a group show in a flat in Stockholm, organized by Anna Nyberg and Annica Åberg.

“Givet en vägg, en dörr” is a blue custom-made door.

The title is a reference to a quote from “Espèces d espaces” (eng, Species of Spaces, 1974) by George Perec: “Granted there is a wall, what is going on behind it?” Jean Dardieu



In an adjecent room, I made a site-responsive installation with drawings, texts, photographs, objects and a video along a table, shelves and surrounding wall and floor.
Within the installation were three books: an old note book (that was always too precious for me to write in), “A room of One’s own” by Virginia Woolf and George Perec’s book “Species of Spaces”. The two books are important references for me and act as portals into a way of looking at, and being, in the world.
